DLNA protocol error 7531 is an error that occurs when streaming content from this Western Digital (WD) network player to PS3. The error may disappear due to an intermittent connection, even if content is streaming from WD Link to your PS3.

Sorry, this is German Wow, I just had a broken PS3 replaced today after the concept didn’t work for almost a while (you can tell I’m not a very good gamer)
I just redid this element.
Unfortunately, I forgot the steps I need to follow to make sure it fits my MSS as well as the MCE2005 PC. So if there’s a resource somewhere that someone could point me to, I’d really appreciate it.
This or even the complete stupid guide could be much more appropriate!
From today’s IT perspective, I’m getting a media server error: DLNA protocol error 501 on PS3. Then when I try to access MSS it tells me that I was denied access to the media server.
When I try to install mce2005 on my PC, it tells me that the system name is probably not registered.
Have I deactivated my mss guest user account, if that matters the most to WHS?
Speaking of the guest wallet, what else is wrong with this disabled account?
How do I connect my PS3 to the media server?
Enable DLNA, most likely by going to Settings > Network Settings > Media Center Connection (you only need to do this at startup).Go to the Videos section (or Sound Clips if you want music).Select PS3 Media Server.Select the desired video and streaming will begin.
Thank you and regards,

I would try to activate the guest account first. There is no media on the PS3 (Sony user is a name for a completely different purpose).
Also go to “Settings” -> “Media Sharing” completely on your server and make sure it’s authorized for the three types of reports.
