If instead you have no lights or a “Device not found” message:
- Make sure your computer has a USB 2.0 or higher port, the application will not work with a USB 1.0 port.
- Make sure you only connect the USB connectorto a PC, DO NOT connect the reddish PS/2 connectors when using USB.
- Make sure you plug the USB port directly into the back of the PC (not a prime, not a USB hub, definitely not a power strip or a Fox-In Box).
- Try this on another PC to make sure the issue isn’t purely PC related.
- If you have a big X-Arcade with a tri-mode PCB (mode 3 and therefore 4, it behaves like a gamepad), the new PCB may stay in firmware update mode, which in the world won’t help, then try flashing repeat the main firmware, even on another PC (this was previously known to fix the problem).
- Make sure your X-Arcade model is USB compatible. Click here to check.
- Open X-Arcade™ (this will not void your warranty) and see if the longest white Molex connector is securely attached to the board. It’s probably a good idea to unplug it and plug it back in. Watch the video.
- If you have not used the controller for a long time (months) and it is not working, it may have caused a power surge when first turned onii, which usually requires a hard reboot. Unplug your controller for 24 hours and then try again.
If you have verified that the above problems are not the cause.
